Therapeutic Pranayama & Breathwork



If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or simply in need of rest, this course offers a calm, nurturing space to reconnect with your body, your breath, and restore a sense of inner peace. Unlike fast-paced or achievement-focused yoga classes, this practice is slow, adaptable, and supportive. It is suitable for all bodies, regardless of age, fitness level, or experience. You are encouraged to rest or modify as needed—this is your space. Why Slow Down? Slowing down is essential for wellbeing. Conscious breathing and mindful movement regulate emotions, reduce stress hormones, and create a greater sense of calm. Autumn is an ideal time to begin this practice, helping prepare the body and mind for winter, supporting steadier moods and less anxiety. Who This Course Is For Anyone feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally drained Carers, therapists, or space-holders needing time for themselves People experiencing burnout, transitions, or sleep difficulties Anyone seeking a grounding, weekly ritual of rest and reflection Course Overview Each session includes guided meditation and a handout to support practice at home. You can join all 10 weeks or individual sessions. Dates: 9, 16, 23, 30 Sept; 7, 14, 21, 28 Oct; 4, 11 Nov Weekly Focus: Weeks 1–2: Awareness of Breathing Weeks 3–4: Breathing for Balance Weeks 5–6: Breathing for Calm Weeks 7–8: Seasonal Breathwork Weeks 9–10: Vitalising the Prana – Body & Mind Practical Details When: Tuesdays, 7–8 pm Where: Bullbrook Community Centre, RG12 2NL Group size: Small, supportive group (max. 8 participants) Payment Options: Drop-in: £12 at the door (£12.39 online) 6-class pass: £66 in person (£67.50 online transaction fee incl) – valid 7 weeks 10-class pass: £100 in person (£102.50 online transaction fee incl) – valid 10 weeks Drop-in spaces available weekly. Cash accepted at the door. Bank transfer also possible for block bookings. What to Bring: Yoga mat, 1–2 pillows, 1–2 blankets, optional props, comfortable clothing. This course is a complementary wellbeing practice, not a substitute for therapy or clinical care. Facilitated by Ashwini, a trained practitioner in pranayama and breathwork, grounded in trauma-informed practice. Spaces are limited. Cancellation Policy

At Breathe for Transformation, we offer small, intimate classes to support a high-quality, personalised experience. We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we aim to be as flexible as possible—while also respecting the time, space, and energy invested in holding each class. To ensure fairness for all participants, please take a moment to review our booking and cancellation policy below: Booking You’re welcome to book up to 1 hour before class or Drop in subject to availability. Due to limited spots, we encourage early booking to secure your place and allow us to prepare the space for you. Cancellations – General Classes First-time last-minute cancellation: Life happens—we understand! You won’t lose your fee the first time. Cancellations made 24+ hours before class: Full credit toward another session, subject to availability. Cancellations made 12–24 hours before class: 50% of the session fee will be retained. Cancellations within 12 hours or no-shows: The full fee is non-refundable. While we value flexibility, frequent last-minute cancellations or no-shows can impact the group experience and sustainability of the class. Thank you for understanding and honouring your booking. Cancellations by Breathe for Transformation In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a class or event: You will receive a full refund of the session/course/event fee. If rescheduled (e.g. change of date or venue), your payment will remain valid for the new session. If you’re unable to attend the rescheduled date, we will issue a full refund upon request.
