Coming Together
Coming Together
Coming together as a community is an important part of a yoga practice. This is a Group Sessions.
It provides an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and foster meaningful relationships. Through community gatherings, we can share our stories, learn from one another, and offer mutual support. Community helps us to stay grounded and connected to our common humanity, while also inspiring us to grow and reach our highest potential. At our Class, we strive to create a safe and nurturing space to come together and celebrate the power of community.

Welcome to our community yoga class, where we focus on incorporate the eight limbs of yoga, providing a comprehensive approach to enhancing mental and physical wellbeing.
In our classes, we incorporate the physical postures (asanas) to improve physical health, while also emphasizing breath control (pranayama) to calm the mind and energize the body. We encourage students to withdraw their senses (pratyahara) to focus on the mind and cultivate inner awareness.

“Trauma has a deep and long-lasting effect on the entire organism, from chemical and anatomical changes in the brain, to changes in our body’s physiological systems, to the subjective impact on the experience of a survivor. We believe that treatment for trauma must consider the person as a whole and address the broad-ranging effects of trauma on an individual. This needs to be done through an equal measure of patience, compassion, and gentleness. If we are to help people recover from the insidious violation of their humanity that is trauma, we must be able to offer a varied array of tools to aid in this task.” - Bessel A. Van Der Kolk, MD
